But then they often go on to say that racism and discrimination against people of colour or religious minorities doesn't exist. And there should be no programs to address the disadvantage that minorities face.

Jeez I can't wait for Tom's list of discrimination and injustices he has faced for being a white fundamentalist christian male in rural Alberta. I didn't know it was so hard to live there with such terrible discrimination against Christians?

Do you think it would be socially acceptable for you to publicly denigrate insult, and name call the Muslim faith and believers the same way you treat Tom and his Christian religion?
What Tom is advocating for is very minor in comparison.

You know Glenn will never acknowledge a reasonable and intelligent post. He’s as loony as the antivaxxers and nutty conspiracy theorists. I’ve found my peace and will not engage with this individual as any replies to his posts whether positive or negative do not create any relevant conversation or discourse. He’s in his own world and not capable of such. Just here to stand on the soapbox and hope google search hits find his posts.
