Again, if information is fabricated and manipulated it’s equally possible to do it to all theories. You can’t say only one is manipulated while the one believed in isn’t manipulated as proof of truth.

FYI all the TikTok’s are not doing a good job explaining anything. They’re TikTok’s. I could decide to make one explaining why my Komondor is actually a mini Poodle and by talking through my ass just a very little many people would believe me. That is what I believe should be the takeaway from this topic. And I said so during the previous thread. This topic just shows how easy it is to make a convincing argument with flashy graphics and maps and graphs and sciency sounding concepts to convince people of almost anything. That's how we got the covid scare in the global warming scare and the vaccine scare, different sides of the same coin.
If the true believers of any of these theories don't think they are falling for the exact same tactics, they are deceiving themselves.

I'm not attacking your character. You have a strange perspective compared to most, as shown by your interpretation of information.

Nor am I trying to prove the world is round, which is why I've really offered nothing in that regard beyond using examples to see what the flat earth theory has to counter.

As for TikTok, I have no use for that platform even for entertainment purposes let alone trustworthy educational content. Has nothing to do with the content and everything to do with the platform being a host of garbage.

Also I'm nowhere near diverting from Globe Theory. All science is a theory, saying so doesn't mean it's not the most pragmatic branch. Gravity is also a theory and I'm not going to deny that it exists. As I've said, none of your points have been expansive enough to cover the flaws and make it more believable than Globe to me.

If it offends you so much, it’s a free country, you can chose not to read it. As I said to my grand-daughter yesterday, it’s good to have an open mind and use your own judgement. The more ideas you are exposed to, the better off you will be. I’m not sure if it matters to me if we are spinning or if the world is a round globe, I like to hear all sides. This world is good enough for me, I won’t waste my time dwelling on something I can do nothing about.
