Yes whats wrong with my post is it proves all the deniers wrong about the capacity of renewable energy. LOL
And Curly Moe is going to build much more expensive nuclear when both neighboring provinces are going to implement a lot more renewables?
He might catch on but I doubt it!

Renewable energy failed so far as a main power source in Western Europe, and they don’t even have near the winter we in the Canadian prairies have .

With no more hydro , like most of us have said for over a decade , there is no other solution to base line power . Maybe in 30-40-50 years , but certainly not when some of you are cheering on the climate madness to shut down fossil fuels asapLast edited by furrowtickler; Aug 1, 2023, 07:34.

Why has hydro gotten too costly to build?? Is it inefficient power or is it red tape and land claims?
7200 sand wells around Winnipeg?
Go ahead but that's ironic as hell.
For the prairies to be self reliant for electricity, we will need nuclear or gas or coal.
Word salad is not proof of more than gullibility.

At present there does not exist a battery which can store enough renewable energy to supply industry at any scale unless you want to live in a yurt on the Steppe. So yes get off the dope.
