All we hear about the world roasting- even boiling, vacations cancelled for Europe - well Google, “weather in Parisâ€. The whole week’s forecast is in the low twenties - and raining. London even cooler.

in 2021 over 600 people died from the record heat dome in BC.
They were effectively locked down by record hot days in a province that is known for a cooler coastal climate that has a massive coastal rain forest and now BC is suffering from more heat and another severe drought in many areas?
But don't let that stop you from disputing the science of human caused climate change.

The record number of extreme events is piling up quickly, but the flat earthers still say there is nothing to worry about?
And they have nothing to say about the increase in heat related deaths in their own country? Denial or stupidity or a combination of both?

The climate has always been changing. Where I stand this minute, the ice was once over a mile thick, in a past Ice age. And it all melted. Can’t blame fossil fuels for any of that big melt. I do believe the planet is still warming up since that last Ice age.
Dinosaurs have been found in the North West Territories. And more will be found in the future as it warms and the permafrost melts to expose the earth’s past history.
Forest fires are a natural part of the forest’s life cycle. You can’t deny that fact. And yes it exposes the hillsides, and yes heavy rain will come and wash the dirt down to form delta’s where stupid humans will build cities. And yes the cities and towns built in the flood plains will flood. All natural.
Humans have stopped a lot of fires. There was no trees when the first settlers came to my area. This was because prairie fires were a natural occurrence and kept the trees away. When farmers broke the prairie to start farming, the prairie fires largely stopped. The trees then grew up. Fence lines that were put up across bald prairie here in the 1940s, are now buried in the bush.
Forests don’t burn like they used to either, as humans keep trying to stop the fires, as they are right now. But the forests are getting older than they might have without human intervention. The amount of deadfall trees in these “old†forests is just adding “fuel†to the potential fire. And so the fire seasons will only get more intense.
And this particular era of carbon taxing like we can change the environment particularly blows my mind. Like if we reduce our 1.8% of global emissions to 1.5%, do you think that will do anything at all? China’s share increased by 4% in the first quarter of 2023!! Ok, Liberals, like let’s smoke some dubies and maybe if we tax ourselves to death it would make a difference?? Nope, China doubles us in 3 months with their increase even if we’re all dead. So we don’t matter.
The real fact is, you can’t change the natural cycles of the environment. You can’t change the wind and water erosion. You can’t control the weather. You can’t control when under water volcanoes erupt in the Pacific Ocean and change the ocean temperature. You can’t change the intensity of the sun, solar flares or solar cycles that impact our weather and life of earth. You can’t stop super volcanoes from erupting like Yellowstone (one of the biggest on earth and when she blows we are toast and going back to Ice Age), Long Valley Calderas (California), Valles Calderas (New Mexico), La Garita (Colorado) or even little cousin who was more recent, Mount St. Helen’s.
And why we would carbon tax ourselves into financial ruin is beyond me. Seems to be just a Liberal ploy so they can use our money, to burn the most fossil fuels they can, jet setting around the world, giving away our money at every stop like it was their own.
Boiling? Not until dinosaurs roam the arctic again. Best to have a plan to stay warm this winter, without wind or solar power.Last edited by SmallTimeOperator; Aug 1, 2023, 08:22.

I remember back when I was a kid so this would be the 70’s and the only news we got came from the radio and TV.
Every summer there would be news stories about heat waves hitting big American cities like Chicago and New York with untold deaths.
Can’t remember the last time I heard a news story about a heat wave claiming many lives in northern US cities?

So name one credible scientific organization that says human caused climate change is not a serious threat?
I can predict what we are going to get for an answer. Crickets!
