Apparently electrical lines having trees being blown down into transmission lines is responsible for most of the fires… you would think normal preventative electrical line maintenance would have mitigate this danger … juiceing up line voltages… to meet EV charging demand … increasing risk of fires?

Simply blaming Climate Change for the fires is very convenient… as far the record acres burned… since 1990’s…how very convenient…the imagination of these people to pile on existential threats…is not unexpected…

California had these exact problems….” Climate change “ brought them plenty of precipitation… this year… record low wild fires… now… not unexpected!???

Blessings and Prayers…Common Sense “ Wisdom “ seems to be difficult to find these days…

Someone please tell me the last time a tropical island was razed to the ground by fire. I will wait.

Too many coincidences in Maui to ignore. Now insurance adjusters are refusing to pay out. Billionaires sneaking in the background with recovery funds. Oprah has been trying to buy out the locals for years. And a specific location mentioned so prominently on the WEF site.

      Cmon man.

Only the flat earth climate change denier loonies would suggest the really stupid idea that the dramatic increase in the number and area of fires in 2023 was only caused by people setting fires! LOL

It wouldn't have anything to do with drought and excessive heat would it? Which has been constantly in the news since the spring!

That would never be the explanation, considering that majority fires are started by lightning?

When the going gets tough the conspiracy theory brain shuts down!

Did you buy an EV yet to save the planet ? If not why ?
Or you just tell everyone else to buy one
Hybrids don’t count as EV’s , they still use petroleum.

Can't focus furrow? The thread is about forest fires.

Or is it you don't have a worthy comeback for Jazz's stupid idea that the increase in fires is because of people setting them?

And a plug in hybrid is an EV with a battery and electric motor as well as ICE. And if you lived in a city with a normal commute they would be an EV most of the time.

Bingo Tom,,, environmental whack jobs, prevent and halt the cutting and removal of trees, even near power lines. They use excuses like "they capture carbon", or "you're ruining the beauty of our streets", or "if you cut, you'll cause disease", or "you're going to damage an old, historical, legacy tree", etc

Environmentalists who prevent tree maintenance, are no different than the ones who protest control burns to prevent forest fires.

                .
LOL, there is literally video evidence that locals captures with arsonists in Alberta lighting blazes. I thought you were all about evidence. More about narrative.

Here is Quebec a few months ago. Please explain how simultaneous wildfires break out under zero cloud cover and away from all major infrastructure. Did CNN tell you pine cones can boil now

But extreme fire conditions have nothing to do with the forest fire risk and the very large number of fires and area burned? LOL

                  Your record speaks for itself.

Since you avoided the question before I will ask here again , why don’t you have a full EV ?
Jazz can deal with the forest fire thing and you

Danielle smith was just on commie ctv and her investigations say that out of the 650 fires Ab had, 500 were human caused. Thats everything from careless campers to enviro whack jobs running around.

There is no climate change except in your mind chuck.

Pretty pathetic posts when it comes to the record forest fire season.

You picked the wrong year to argue that climate change has nothing to do with the increasing intensity and area of forest fires. Get your head out of your collective arses.

Just more the usual denier bullshit and stupid ideas!

Just when you think the bar can't get any lower. Agrisilly becomes dumber!
