Apparently electrical lines having trees being blown down into transmission lines is responsible for most of the fires… you would think normal preventative electrical line maintenance would have mitigate this danger … juiceing up line voltages… to meet EV charging demand … increasing risk of fires?

They use excuses like "they capture carbon", or "you're ruining the beauty of our streets", or "if you cut, you'll cause disease", or "you're going to damage an old, historical, legacy tree", etc

Environmentalists who prevent tree maintenance, are no different than the ones who protest control burns to prevent forest fires.
