Hundreds of Millions of People Have Safely Received a COVID-19 Vaccine

More than 672 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been given in the United States from December 14, 2020, through March 1, 2023. To view the current total number of COVID-19 vaccinations that have been administered in the United States, please visit the CDC COVID Data Tracker.

COVID-19 vaccines are safe and effective. COVID-19 vaccines were evaluated in tens of thousands of participants in clinical trials. The vaccines met the Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA’s) rigorous scientific standards for safety, effectiveness, and manufacturing quality needed to support emergency use authorization (EUA). Learn more about EUAs in this video.

The Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson/Janssen and Novavax COVID-19 vaccines will continue to undergo the most intensive safety monitoring in US history. This monitoring includes using both established and new safety monitoring systems to make sure that COVID-19 vaccines are safe.
    Common Side Effects

Some people have side effects after getting their COVID-19 vaccine, while others might have no side effects. Side effects may affect the ability to do daily activities, but they should go away within a few days. Learn more about common side effects after COVID-19 vaccination.
Adverse Events (Serious Safety Problems) Are Rare

In rare cases, people have experienced serious health events after COVID-19 vaccination. Any health problem that happens after vaccination is considered an adverse event. An adverse event can be caused by the vaccine or can be caused by a coincidental event not related to the vaccine, such as an unrelated fever, that happened following vaccination.

To date, the systems in place to monitor the safety of these vaccines have found four serious types of adverse events following COVID-19 vaccination, with evidence that suggests, although rare, a link to certain types of COVID-19 vaccinations that were administered.

And EVERY one shot up with 2-3-4-5, STILL had COVID! Some way worse. It prevented SFA. Now those have DOUBLE the spikes in their cells, plus a myriad of other yet to be seen effects.

Reported side effects following COVID-19 vaccination in Canada

This page will be updated next on September 29, 2023 at noon EST.
Report summary updated June 9, 2023

A total of 98,194,601 vaccine doses have been administered in Canada as of May 26, 2023, including 8,784,275 bivalent doses. Adverse events (side effects) have been reported by 55,145 people. That’s about 6 people out of every 10,000 people vaccinated who have reported 1 or more adverse events.
Of the 55,145 individual reports, 44,239 were considered non-serious (0.045% of all doses administered) and 10,906 were considered serious (0.011% of all doses administered).
Of the 54,569 individual reports, 793 were following a bivalent vaccine. 596 were considered non-serious (0.007% of bivalent COVID-19 doses administered) and 197 (0.002% of bivalent COVID-19 doses administered) were considered serious.
Most adverse events are mild and include soreness at the site of injection or a slight fever.
Serious adverse events are rare, but do occur. They include anaphylaxis (a severe allergic reaction), which has been reported 774 times (1 report per 100,000 doses administered)
for all COVID-19 vaccines across Canada. That’s why you may need to wait for a period of time after you receive a vaccination so that you can receive treatment in case of an allergic reaction.

          Safe and Effective!

          COVID-19 Alberta statistics
          Vaccine Effectiveness

          https://www.alberta.ca/stats/covid-19-alberta-statistics.htm#vaccine-effectiveness

          Overview

A large body of evidence suggests that vaccines are safe and effective against COVID-19.
All viruses evolve over time through genetic variations. These changes can cause the emergence of new “variants” of the original virus and may have different properties than the original virus, such as increased transmissibility or the ability to cause more severe disease. Omicron, along with its sub-variants, is the currently circulating variant of concern (VOC) in Alberta.
Omicron has demonstrated increased transmissibility and capacity to evade the body’s immune response compared to previous versions of the virus. This occurs whether this immunity was generated by infection, vaccines, or both.
The protection that vaccines provide against severe disease continues to be strong even many months after immunization. Two doses of a COVID vaccine dramatically reduce the risk of hospitalization or death, and a third dose will offer even more protection. A booster dose is recommended at 5 months after the second dose, and at least 3 months following infection with COVID-19, to increase the level of protection against severe outcomes.
COVID vaccines are not always able to provide protection against infection by Omicron or one of its subvariants. Immunity against infection wanes over time, but can be boosted with a third or fourth dose of an mRNA vaccine.
Fourth doses, or second boosters, are most important for those at high risk of severe outcomes. For considerations on these doses, see https://www.alberta.ca/article-choosing-a-second-vaccine-booster.aspx

          The Evidence

A systematic review of the evidence published between December 2021 and April 2022 in The Lancet Infectious Diseases found that the VE of a primary series (for most people, this is two doses) against severe outcomes remained high and stable over time at over 80%. [1, 2] VE against infection by Omicron was lower than for previous variants and waned over time with most protection against infection lost by 4-6 months post second dose. However, boosting with a third dose increased the VE against infection with Omicron (to about 60%) and against severe outcomes (to 90%). [1, 2]

The figure on page 20 of this document helps to illustrate the results from the evidence, for both the primary series as well as for a booster dose.
Another evidence review, published by McMaster University on June 22, 2022, also examined the effectiveness of COVID-19 vaccines against the Omicron variant. It found that in general, people with a primary series continue to have a good level of protection against hospitalisation and death due to COVID-19 for 7 to 8 months after being vaccinated. A third (booster) dose increases this protection against COVID-19 related hospitalisations, with a very minimal degree of waning after several months. [3]

In addition to reviews that assess the VE of second and third doses, there is emerging evidence on the benefit of a fourth dose. A recently published study in healthcare workers from Israel found that only 7% of those with a fourth dose became infected with Omicron, versus 20% of those with only three doses, demonstrating increased protection against infection. Infections were either asymptomatic or mild and no severe outcomes were seen. [4]

Do a bit of research on excess deaths per country and then look at jab % in them countrys also , or if your mind is still closed to real information dont bother

You want me to do your homework Crap? LOL

And there is a good chance the excess deaths are unrecorded covid or related to the overwhelmed healthcare system because of covid.

I've got two kids and they don't have anywhere near 87 shots. Where the heck is that?

I remember having this discussion with our vet a number of years ago. Forget the exact numbers, but he commented that the maximum number of vaccines you should give to a cow at one time with is something like 20. Which shocked me until we looked at the labels and realized each product is up to eight vaccines in one.
Go add up how many vaccination our children have had when you look at it from that perspective, not the total number of shots.
Personally. Due to our experience with livestock, I've always been pro vaccine. However this covid fiasco has certainly caused some sober second thought on the topic.
A close neighbor of ours insists that her now autistic son was absolutely normal until immediately after one of his vaccinations. I'm not about to argue with a mother in that position.

There is no evidence that vaccines cause autism. Another antivaxer myth that plays on social media.

Would you like to argue with my neighbor who claims she saw it happen? I'd rather argue with a mama grizzly bear with a toothache.
