No one would have heard of these Fringe movements if people like you weren't trying to elevate them to some mythical status.
More denial? Having second thoughts about associating with extremists fringe groups and separatists?

Nobody believes your tales about not knowing about Diagolon in Coutts. Or the Proudboys.

Were you at the antivaxer protests in front of hospitals harassing healthcare workers while they were saving lives?

We don't have a TV. While I am a former news junky, I completely quit MSM shortly after Covid started. I had never heard of any of the extremist groups you are attempting to make a big deal about, until you started trying to insist they were real, not 3 disaffected guys in their moms basement plotting to take over the world as appears to be the reality.

So where are you getting your "news" now. Info wars, Rebel, ....?

Its no wonder you come up with some pretty far out in right field ideas.

                Let's do an experiment.

Watch/read/listen to your usual news sources today.
Then come back tomorrow and tell me at least one item of information you learned which is pertinent to your life or business. Something which caused you to change your plans, affected your marketing, caused your to cancel your travel plans etc.
And how much of it is completely irrelevant to your life, but caused you no end of anxiety and negative emotions about things you have no control over, and even though they will never affect you in the slightest?

That is to say, what benefit did you derive from absorbing all of the news of the day?

All of which have zero relevance to my life, zero relevance to agriculture, zero relevance to rural issues, or commodity marketing before that.
Qanon a total psyop. "Operation Trust" was a Bolshevik counterintelligence operation run from 1921 to 1926 aimed at neutralizing opposition by creating the false impression that a powerful group of military leaders had organised to stop the communists' takeover. Q's "Trust the Plan" "white hats are in control" a total farce designed to keep resistance at bay.
Chucky probably knows that, thats why he plants the seed.

Huh? So you don't want to know what is going on in your community, province, country and around the world in realm of government and economics and social issues to name a few.

No wonder you have such self centred, self serving views!

But for a guy who says he doesn't want to know anything about what is going on, you sure have a lot of strong opinions and flaky notions about things you don't want to know anything about! LOL

So, what useful information did you derive from your new sources yesterday?

When something piques my interest, I will check all sources to learn all that I can. But I don't need a steady drip feed of negative news about the entire world going 24/7. If I did, I would probably be as paranoid about covid, climate change, right wing conspiracy groups, Donald Trump and Pierre Pollievre as you are.

Great example today. Rained out, so I went to pick up parts. 5 hour round trip. I took my ~85 year old neighbor along for the ride, as we often do, he really appreciates the change of scenery and company, I do too.

Along the way, I learned about every accident and death and murder in Alberta in recent times. I also learned about all the catastrophes around the world.

As far as I can tell, this information did not help him in any way, but it sure didn't help his optimism about the world.
I can't say that knowing any of this has been of any use to me either.
