You can't have it both ways!

The oil industry is important to the economy but the excess profits go to shareholders in a massive transfer of wealth mostly to those who are already well off.
Oil prices affect our competition worldwide equally. Its a level playing field. CO2 tax only destroys Canadian businesses competitivity.

And the carbon tax is really like increasing the GST. You're just calling it something else.

The US has lower fuel taxes and fuel prices than Canada for a long time so that is just not true!

Europe has had higher fuel prices for a long time too.

Its not a level playing field then is it? Wrong again? LOL

And industry has been moving from high energy cost Canada and Europe to low cost US and China etc.
About the only industries left in Canada now are those with no choice such as mining forestry agriculture oil and gas. Energy intensive downstream industries such as, Refining, manufacturing etc. Have mostly all moved out of the country.

Bullshit and wrong again ? LOL

Industry moved from the US to China as well. Why do you think US leaders were saying we want more manufacturing to come home, especially after all the supply chain disruptions?

Canada has a significant manufacturing sector as well. Larger than agriculture.

The whole agriculture and agri-food system generated $143.8 billion (around 7.0%) of Canada's gross domestic product (GDP)Jul 6, 2023

Manufacturing "accounts for approximately $174 billion (10%) of Canada's total GDP; manufacturers export more than $354 billion each year, representing 68% of Canada's merchandise exports; and the industry provides over 1.7 million full-time jobs across the country.Jun 15, 2023"

The auto industry that just secured some investment based on the lower cost hydro electricity prices in Quebec.

Richmound has a protest on this weekend to get the Queen of Canada and her band of Q'Anon cult followers to bugger off.

Another occupation by loony antivaxers and the locals aren't happy? Sounds familiar. LOL

Who's the local idiot owner of the school who invited them in named Ricky Manz? And then gets charged with assault?

I had been asking you for examples of useful information you have obtained from watching/reading/listening to MSM media.

It appears the only information you found was something about Canada now having a queen?

                    I rest my case.

Chuck and many other Agriviller's are waiting for you to answer his question in post 78

"If you are opposed to wealth redistribution are you going to send back your subsidies?"

You know, interest free cash advances, crop insurance, CEBA, etc etc.

A "Libertarian" participating in the Government of Canada and Trudeau's hand outs.

Let's hear your answer to this wealth redistribution regarding yourself.
