So a turn to communism is MBs choice now and a $200M search of a landfill was the wedge issue.

I mean searching residential school sites has gone so well in the past year, why not replicate it on a bigger scale.

The NDP campaigned primarily on healthcare and have promised several expanisons of ERs, clinics and more staff to reduce wait times.

Is that so radical? Not really

Meanwhile the PCs campaigned on not searching the landfill because of safety issues even after being told by experts it could be done safely.

Finding murdered first nations women doesn't rank high on the PCs list of priorities. And they will lose the election on this and other tone deaf campaign platforms.

So if Wab get elected he will just snap his fingers and a whole lot of ER s will open up ? Doctors and health care workers that are in very short supply will just suddenly appear ! Oh and also the money and workers will be lineing up to go digging in years of rubbish ,

Opening more ERs and community clinics in Manitoba is doable and much more likely.

On the issue of housing almost no politician is talking about the impact of investors and speculators buying 1 or more houses as an investment. The Bank of Montreal has said this is a big part of the problem.

Also all the apartments and condos that are converted to short stay tourist accommodation taking them off the rental market.

Plus most home owners are not that interested in the value of their homes falling especially if they just purchased them or just renewed a mortgage at a higher rate.

NDP keeps saying we must tax high earners more , well guess what Doctors are in that catagory , Doctors are pretty smart people and will go where tax rates are better , so please explain how all these extra Doctors will be hired to run the new ERs while at the same time scaring them away with the threat of higher taxes

and on the subject of housing , i have a house sitting empty because i got sick of dealing with idiot tennants , they have more rights now than property owner thanks to their non stop whineing , the balance has tipped too far , and now they are crying because not as many places are available to rent , if it was worthwhile a lot more places would be built for rent , no need for government to get involved , simple economics
