Where did I say that ? LOL

Providing affordable housing and healthcare for seniors and low income people is not the same as advocating that everyone should be equal in income is it?

Wrong, inflation has been created in G20 nations with central bank printing shenanigans and quadrupling the money supply and then exporting that inflation world wide. Boy you need an econ lesson and not from Karl Marx

Have you looked how much bitcoin has appreciated vs the lowly loon. Bitcoin is up several thousand percent since its inception.

Unfortunately since care homes were destroyed by the govt during covid, living with a younger person in transition is probably preferable.

But its all just another sign of decay of our civilization. Those young people in the article dont look like they are about to tear up the world anyway, so might as well just sit around and wait for the inheritance.

I just dont quite follow how we arent going to see a housing bubble burst when all these variable rate mortgages come due....and a more serious question...

What resets some of these absurd values? Will they ever reset?
Will a deere sprayer ever come down under 1 million if wheat etc come tumbling down?
What brings the price of a new half ton from 80 k to 40 k? Nothing?

Hmmm buy a place in belize....or buy a half ton?

Are homes selling right now because people are scared rates will go higher .. or are people that desperate that a 400 k home in Fort Saskatchewan sells in hours after being listed. ?

          How does a 900 k tractor do more than a 300 k tractor?

Its all just.. well it seems so upside down, no?

          85 k . For a truck. 85 thousand bucks. For a truck!
          140 k for a cadillac escalade.
Now that is 1 instance where chucks incredibke overuse of LOL LOL LOL can be applied....

If banks stopped giving loans everything comes crashing down , seen it happen in ireland back in 2008 , all property dropped about 50% almost overnight , land has still not got back to pre 08 prices , farmers that sold developement land bought it back for mabe 20% of what they sold for , huge winners and loosers , anybody that had hard cash got great deals

I recall land values taking 22 years to come back to 81 prices. I don't recall new machinery prices going down.
Cost of a new combine then and now same as a quarter of land. If anything, land was cheaper for a while.
We had a huge inventory of used that was fixed. Smaller farms. Today even fixing not the same scenario.
It will be interesting, but I know I don't have another 22 years left in me.

Bought a 2023 Ram 1500 Classic 4 x 4 Crew cab for $54500 taxes in out the door in June. Included the first service as well for that price which it has already got. Basic truck but does the job. You do not have to pay $80K for a half ton.

You are right on. Or big RVs on a blue collar wage. However. I paid $16k for a plain jane, no radio, in 86.
Today, I want the goods; except the tv screen and live windshield and $13k tailgate. LOL
