I know many otherwise healthy individuals who were terribly sick with covid. So unless you have magic powers to determine who will be sick you argument is bogus. Do you vaccinate only the animals that will get sick?

In no way did I infer or insinuate covid is not real. I’m not a conspiracy theorist, don’t try and play me like I am. In your effort to be perceptive you’re erring on the side of assumption.

The flu exists, I don’t get a vaccine for that. I listed a couple of illnesses that can affect my cattle that I choose not to administer. Then there’s the issues I’m at no real risk of contacting in my current place so no need to vaccinate for. Covid joins the ilk of these.

It does not have the mortality they were afraid it was going to have, therefore it’s primarily fear mongering telling people they need to get vaccinated. The safety of the vaccine has no bearing to me, it’s the fact that I don’t need it to begin with, nor do most others.

It is overwhelmingly unnecessary.

I’m going to immediately go out and vaccinate all my cattle for pink eye and foot rot. Two issues that are also not usually necessary to vaccinate for because other management decisions can drastically impact their morbidity and mortality. But boy howdy, I’ve been told we need to vaccinate or I’m an idiot!

I’ll also book myself in for a Hep A+B, Yellow fever, Typhoid, and Dukoral because even though I’m not travelling anywhere so am at no increased risk from those, I’ve been told that available vaccines mean you must be vaccinated, no matter the actual necessity.
