Safety data was produced for the registration and approval of the covid vaccines and safety was tracked during the roll out of the vaccines in 2021 and 2022.

Alberta data showed in earlier phases of the pandemic that the unvaccinated were much more likely to be hospitalized and die than the vaccinated. One of the primary benefits of the vaccines was a reduction in severe disease.

You called the Alberta data, that was a couple of months old, out of date! LOL

The covid virus mutated and changed and immunity from vaccines wears off over time.

The flu shot is changed every year because the dominant strains change.

But flu shots are still recommended for everyone but especially seniors.
