Couple days ago. Experiencing west coast winter storm.

I don't have any picture evidence. But during the coldest day we had in January, I saw a deer losing his antlers. The last one was hanging by a thread sideways on top of his head and he was acting very unusual.

Instead of staying in the bin yard and losing the antler where I might find it, he headed out across field where I can find it in an expensive tire instead.
The reason I have no pictures that it takes a long time to get the phone out of an inside pocket when you're dressed up for 40 below.

Brings back memories of when I built my house . Definitely glad I did it when I was in my mid thirties not mid fifties. Definitely would need some younger helping hands now .

project looks very good
lots of work but when done it is a satisfying feeling. It’s the finishing that takes the most time

Shit, I am in my mid 50’s, I was in charge of the framing and had some help, it wasn’t experienced help but now it is. I kinda forgot how much fun steep roofs are….
