Well into the melt and runoff on April 15. Likely peak in the next few days if it stays warm. Later than normal for runoff to begin.
My Mother always said normally runoff starts around April 7. I my experience I would say average would be April 10.
That’s the Carrot River and I have seen it much higher. It’s still rising at this point.

Good to see the run off starting there finally.
We had 2-4 days of run off here in general. About normal.
Will have more water in our area than the past 5 years after going for tour this evening.
In general, time will tell, we don't run completely out of moisture for crops before early July in this situation .
This area , like many others desperately needs at least an average crop, and will gladly seed around several potholes in every field if that be the case

We will be down about 200 ac total from the past 4 years, our most productive land , but i will take that if we actually get just a few or even one good rain in July finally

Not as wet as some areas and not as dry a some areas , and decent soil moisture here for the first time in 4 years

      Time will tell i guess

        We always have huge runoff.
Billions and Billions of gallons of water that runs off to the NE towards Hudson Bay.
Snow melt doesn’t really add much to the game. Still always need timely rains to get a good crop. I have seen to many times when the water in those rivers are just as high in the summer. When that happens get ready for a depressing crop and an ugly harvest!
