Fields are starting to go backwards on the hills here. Can see it from the road even. Can’t imagine all the frost this week helped.

Big East Blow today should bring more rain, not complaining because I was here for the Dirty 80’s. Not good memories.

Canola crop same date last yr vs this yr.

Missed the frost and the beetles, but we are 2-3 weeks behind last yr. Karma might come Sept.

I hope the extreme alarmists a few years back that predicted we will all be growing corn and soybeans by now due to global warming did not bet their farms on that
the corn and soybeans here have about a 5% chance of making a crop here now . Funny how weather cycles and yes climate always changes
fact is , we will always be in a cool season crop production area long beyond our lifetime

Not the frost that will get us. The extremes will.

The pattern is fighting back and forth el nino la nina. Thats probably the reason for the extremes. One will take over eventually. Got zero to do with CO2.
