Harvest has been very slow going this year. Farmers are getting a little frustrated. I mean finally after a coulpe of really dry years, we finally had good rain....but we are still having rain. So, are family is trying hard to keep the optomistic spirit alive when the local paper comes the other day with the bold headline... TIME RUNNING OUT FOR HARVEST! Thanks a whole bunch, we know that but what are we to do, we sure didn't need that 'friendly' reminder. Possibly the paper could have focused on the good yields that there seem to be (not mentioning price), or how farmers are working hard to finish harvest. Oh well...just a thought.
