Promises?

Lets see, Harper promises a child care program and the next day here comes Paul to the rescue! Can't have people actually having a choice on how to raise their kids in the great Socialist Republic of Kanada!
He promises $5 billion over five years and the another $6 billion over the next five....hmmm sort of the same deal the Liberals(and Paul) promised in 1993! I wonder what took him so long to achieve this great socialist utopia?
Now I wonder if Paul gets a majority, if the people will get the $5 million daycare plan...or will it have to wait another 12 years?
How can anyone take these guys seriously? Promise made...promise kept...isn't that their rallying cry?
How about the promise to scrap the GST? Or the promise to rescind the free trade deal? Or for that matter the national daycare plan?
Maybe they should be shouting..Promise made...PROMISE NOT KEPT? It would be a lot more truthful?

Too bad the big media companies don't want to ask him about those points. They might not get to ride on the plane with him.

And people wonder why I hold politicians in such high esteem, NOT the same which I reserve for child molestors and bottom feeding lawyers. They can't be trusted and you can't ever believe a word they say. I won't even apologize for being cynical anymore every time they open their mouth it is a lie, the only question being how big a lie.
