At the moment everything looks rosy. The money is rolling in and Alberta continues to send the checks down east! There are faint rumblings as Quebec approaches a government meltdown and needs some more petro bucks to keep afloat? Harper has a mighty fine line to walk?
Hopefully we will finally get a premier who will stand up to the thieves in Ottawa and protect our provincial resources, but I wouldn't count on it!
It is encouraging that our neighbors, Saskatchewan and BC, seem to be enjoying some prosperity and getting over their own "welfare" status? Saskatchewan still needs to get rid of the "dippers"(hopefully next election?) but then we could have a united right wing inclined block of western provinces? Strong enough to put up some fences to keep out the thieving predators from central Canada?
Just my opinion.
