Not sure Agstarr or which one you refer to?
Business as normal i think but all scaling back and exports to china full noise as usual.

The biggest issue push at moment in energy here is to put wind farms out to sea rather than land gonna be interesting how it pans out. Valuable land versus valuable ecosystems.

Edit personally i find wind farms less obtrusive than solar farms

Amazing some wind farms here have ageing infrastructure already been around longer than one thinks.

Your response not far off wmoebis, but in this text you are describing cc , by far without question over any other poster …

“What gets me most is when others like myself come in with an opinion or remark we are belittled and called names by the others that don't agree with us and that doesn't matter what side we are supporting or discussing.”

No doubt you are correct at times but that describes literally every post cc makes is to belittle others at the same time adding zero to any rural issue or anything ag related ever , has not in over a decade on here .
Others can be tolerated because they truly do contribute to ag related issues or in the commodity forum. There are others just as bad that that pretend to be “farmers” and just show up periodically to ridicule then delete posts constantly, they are just as bad if not worse .
it’s pointless at times to post anything, most don’t need or have time to get into senseless arguments with keyboard pretenders .
this site needs more “woodlands” to be honest .

When I consider all the sacrifices made by the vast majority of our forefathers…the evil sacrilege presented as constructive solutions… like the recent selective carbon tax removal in eastern Canada…. Is a desecration of the memories of our freedom fought for so many Canadians .

        Blessings and Prayers

I was referring to those near the great barrier reef, but I see it was denied by government.

CC has the right to stay the course.
But there is no debate who starts the most threads. Nor who nearly has his own forum.
Clearly enjoys asking for and handing out jabs.

Now, if you look closer, if not for him, Agriville would be scant lately. Not his "fault" interest has waned. Commodity forum getting slow and he's been off for some time.

Still info here if you seek it.
Ignoring the ridiculous sometimes falls to temptation. The work is mine.

But which came first, the Chucken, or the egg?

Is commodity marketing slow because of the years of allowing Chuck to treat it as his own personal soapbox to bleat on about his latest woke causes, while belittling, insulting, and name calling everyone else, which has driven off many who came for civil informed adult discussions about agriculture?
Once bitten twice shy. They realize that the administrators aren't going to enforce any their own rules to keep the discussion civil and on topic, so they "give up already", and take their business elsewhere, which seems to be the goal of Chuck all along.

Or is it slow because we are all just here to watch the train wreck in real time, and without the instigator, it just isn't as much fun?

Thinking your reasons many be quite different for participating in Agriville. Please enlighten us kind sir.

Weve tried to help you over the years even your detractors, just Read the room, and think before one posts, i always try to. Its not that hard
I suspect he is very good at reading the room.
He reads that the room is full of smart, educated independent thinkers, with broad knowledge in various industries and varied life experiences, more than capable of embarrassing his ideological based parroting in any fact based debate.
So his solution is to poison the environment with childish insults, taunts, name calling, imbecilic strawman arguments and stubborn obfuscation by refusing to respond in kind to any reasonable civil attempts at discussions.
All in an attempt to force those who disagree with him to leave in disgust.
To give up, to quote Chuck himself.
He says this all the time, he wants his opposition to give up. So he can spread his ill informed propaganda unchallenged, since he is incapable of defending it, or even understanding it himself, as indicated by the constant contradictions.

You guys should try defending your opinions with credible evidence. And see how that works?

Instead you waste your time whining about me like a bunch of children?

Even though some of you are more offensive with your comments and insults? How do you spell hypocritical? LOL

The real reason you want to get rid of me is you disagree with me and don't have good counter arguments!

I don’t want to get rid of you Chuck. I would just enjoy your contributions more if there was more variety, and better manners.

Enjoy can be used as a synonym for read in this instance.

Evidence that comes fron respected and credible scientific organizations and not climate change denier and antivaxer sites. But you fail on that front time and again!

He is not a climate scientist nor a infectious disease scientist. You only think he is credible because you agree with his opinions.
