I think of things like DDT, 24D, Mercury, Asbestos etc ended up being dangerous to health and environment did/are these studies missing things that future generations will regret.

For all those that want to bash oil and gas , as farmers , you should really look in the mirror and ask yourself honestly where you, your farm and your farm’s legacy would be without the petroleum industry.
look real hard
cause you you ain’t running your farms off solar and wind , you never will , neither will the next generation.

I agree, what concerns me is all the other products made from O&G like the plastics that everything seems to be need to be wrapped in. Look at your garbage after a simple shopping trip to your hardware store. Buy 6 screws they need to be encased in plastic and undoubtably you need 7 or 8.

And wouldn't it be nice to have metal bumpers and mirrors on our cars again even if those light flimsy ones that at least didn't crack when bumped in winter. I'm starting to wonder where all the recycled metal goes anymore or are we running out of it?
