Prove or disprove that piece of scientific research by, “experts”.
I wonder if all the studies on all things, not limited to but including O&G and by products, that have been done over the years turned out the way the results of studies that were done. I think of things like DDT, 24D, Mercury, Asbestos etc ended up being dangerous to health and environment did/are these studies missing things that future generations will regret.

I would hope the scientific establishment has progressed significantly since the days of doctors recommending menthol cigarettes and laying babies on their belly in the crib. I don’t want to go too far as to say we know better today because of better tech and knowledge and a more stringent and critical safety protocols but we’re definitely a lot more careful I think.

For all those that want to bash oil and gas , as farmers , you should really look in the mirror and ask yourself honestly where you, your farm and your farm’s legacy would be without the petroleum industry.
          look real hard
cause you you ain’t running your farms off solar and wind , you never will , neither will the next generation.

I agree, what concerns me is all the other products made from O&G like the plastics that everything seems to be need to be wrapped in. Look at your garbage after a simple shopping trip to your hardware store. Buy 6 screws they need to be encased in plastic and undoubtably you need 7 or 8.

Don’t think anyone loves that excessive use of packaging. Especially that hard plastic crap.

That explains the woke's motivation in a nutshell. When their predecessors the Bolsheviks took control of Russia in the early 1900's they rounded up every single seed so farmers could not put a crop in. 60+million starved. The goal of Bolsheviks/woke is to make everyone a slave to the state. Farmers being self reliant are always enemy number of one of totalitarianism. Controlling the energy has the same effect.

Also the reason for the push for "SMART' meters on your homes.

And wouldn't it be nice to have metal bumpers and mirrors on our cars again even if those light flimsy ones that at least didn't crack when bumped in winter. I'm starting to wonder where all the recycled metal goes anymore or are we running out of it?

Coming soon they will directly be targeting "super users" who drive a lot, often in SUV's an Pickup trucks.

"The state found that 6.3% of its drivers were burning 1,000 gallons of gas or more a year, and 86% of them drove SUVs, pickups or vans."

Rural residents are the problem according to the authorities.

C'mom, you can narrow it down further than that.

Maybe a study by rural authorities into how much fuel (aircraft and SUV/van motorcades) politician use would be useful also.

Auto body shops use more glue than welding if that explains things. Kinda sad as most will replace a panel or door skin rather than pop out the dint. Present cost of a vehicle and how much they cheap out on the things that matter is pathetic.
