And will have to subsidize the auto industry considerably more as they can't build EV's for an affordable price. The more they build the more they lose at current prices.
Can't forget about the raw materials needed for production. That will need a lot more subsidies to get that up and producing. Governments can compete with taxpayer money to get that all started even if there is no actual demand.

Will also have to make it much more expensive to drive an ICE vehicle in order to make the EV's more attractive. Direct taxes fuel and new purchases will have to increase a lot.
Restrict production of O&G to limit supply. Shut down as much pipeline capacity as possible. Increase regulatory to drive off investment.

But it can all be fixed with a little government tinkering.

You’re gonna need a few more breakers to plug in the imaginary electric tractors , sprayers , combines , heavy trucks needed .

Actually, I did, and I've brought this up multiple times.
I've pointed out that we are sabotaging our grid by adding solar, and pushing consumers to do the same. When I point out to you that it will be difficult to charge your electric car at home in your garage at night using solar power, your solution is to charge at work. Now you are telling us we need to charge our EV's at home in our garage.
While also telling us the solution to intermittent renewable energy is to use EV batteries as storage. So we should plug our EV's in at night when the sun isn't shining, and on average, the wind is weaker, so they can accumulate the excess generation from the non existent solar power, then use them to discharge back into the grid during rush hour the next day when they are stuck in traffic no where near a plug in.

I can't see any inconsistencies with your plan at all. Should work perfectly. Where do I sign up?

Not hard to see why solar is often of little value as proven in California where they pay neighboring states to take it in order to balance the grid when the sun shines.
Doesn't apply to winter as production is essentially zero.
Is there any logical reason for consumers to susidize home based solar? If the individuals producing surplus power don't need it chances are no one else does either.

Never said that. Affordable fuel and food will always be the way. Just suggesting a measured transition.

What? You cant add another 30 amp circuit to your farm without blowing the main fuse? We are going to add another 200 amp service to deal with all the 20-50 amp fans running in August September. The rest of the year we have a lot of excess capacity and Solar PV covers our average annual usage at a much lower cost than Sask Power.

Chuck2 will say I am anti-science but here goes. I drive a 2023 Chev. Blazer with a V-6 gas motor. Recently my wife and I were on short 3 day working holiday. When I got home we had travelled 675 kms. round trip. Still had a quarter of a tank of gas left. So I am guessing another 100 kms. range left. Now I could have waited a year and bought the all new 2024 Chev. Blazer EV. Posted range is 520 km. The vehicle is $10000 minimum more than the vehicle I bought. Where we stayed my car was parked outside and is snowed 6 inches while we were there. Now to come home I would have had to find a charger. The ICE vehicle being $10000 cheaper would buy me 7500 litres of fuel with which I could travel over 75000 kms but dammit according to Chuck2 I am anti-science!!!! I would say EV’s are the government’s way of reducing and controlling our movement and freedom.

As for the picture of Biden I certainly did laugh. A better one would be a picture of Stephen Guilbeault with Justin Trudeau’s and Chuck2’s heads stuck up his derrière!!!
