Comparing the Bush Gore Florida recount to what Trump did in trying to overturn the results and is still doing is idiotic. Was Gore charged? Nope
The recounts were triggered by state law because the vote margin was very close.
But as usual logic and common sense is chronically in short supply amongst some of the usual suspects on agrisilly. Just more dumbass denial from the Trump supporters?
"On election night, it was unclear who had won, with the electoral votes (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electoral_College_(United_States)) of the state of Florida (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Florida) still undecided. The returns showed that Bush had won Florida by such a close margin that state law required a recount (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2000_United_States_presidential_election_recount_i n_Florida). A month-long series of legal battles led to the highly controversial 5–4 Supreme Court (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Supreme_Court) decision Bush v. Gore (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bush_v._Gore), which ended the recount.
The recount having been ended, Bush won Florida by 537 votes, a margin of 0.009%. The Florida recount and subsequent litigation resulted in major post-election controversy, and with speculative analysis suggesting that limited county-based recounts would likely have confirmed a Bush victory, whereas a statewide recount would likely have given the state to Gore." Weren't there Nazi and Confederate flags at the convoy party in Ottawa? And the Queen of Canada was there too!
There are real Nazis and white supremacists on the far right fringes so you should be more concerned about them.
And in Alberta former premier Jason Kenny called the TBA UCP faction the "loonies taking over the asylum". He got that right.

Check out LBJ's recount of the Dem nomination in 1948.
200 votes came in late with all the same penmanship.
It's been done in smaller degrees probably since the beginning of voting.
Trump was a lightning rod but look what they got for the most popular president ever.
