Ain’t that the truth Austranada?
We farmed near Jerome Bechard, the real inventor of the air seeder, and we watched his experiments. What a genius, right under our very noses-but you are 100 % correct, as the registered seed growers next door drove to the mail they wondered ???? because with no-till and no Round-Up you can imagine. Man, you gotta admire what this neighbour accomplished in his lowly shop when the mercury dropped.

If you are driving in remote areas you can always buy a plug in hybrid and get the best of both technologies.
And many ICE vehicles will likely not start or freeze up in cold weather too leaving you stranded in remote areas.

It took 90 years to develop something as brutally reliable as the 5.3 gm engine. I've owned 3 in the last 24 years.
Total maintenance is 1 set of plugs in 350k. Starts and runs in all weather.
Now we are to believe the same will happen in 11 years???
Has it been so long since anyone has lived hand to mouth that they can't see you can't afford today's vehicle repair costs on a mid or lower wage? Just keep trading them off and making payments. Far better than supporting evil corporations.
Better hurry up on urban transportation infrastructure.
50 mile round trip for fresh produce here. $9/gal milk locally.
Single income households sure aren't in anyone's plans. Rebates a slap on the arse after pulling out.
