I was kinda thinking about posting a picture of a stick man and asking chuckroach to circle what part of his body was abused, I’m kinda guessing he’d need to circle the entire picture but I don’t really want knowledge of what’s going on in that little hamster wheel.

There was a post here pointing out that Chuck is still stuck in junior high. Seems to have disappeared.
It was an accurate representation. I remember many bullies just like Chuck back in junior high and elementary school. The type that would rather kick the game board over so that no one else has any fun, rather than learn how to play so they can join in. Just like Chuck does on here whenever a topic is above his paygrade.
In the intervening years I've met many of them again as adults, in all instances, they eventually grew up, socialized, and turned into well adapted adults, able to function in broader society.
I've never met one in real life who stayed the course, only Chuck.

So says the pretend libertarian troll from Alberta.
Just trying to match the level of discussion on Agrisilly.
Found any links between asphalt and rising ocean temperatures yet?

There is a place for EV’s
just not everywhere , all at once for everyone .
And yes they were trying to force EV’s onto everyone, by saying all new vehicles sold by 2030 must be EV’s , and ratcheting up carbon tax to make it unaffordable to own and operate ICE vehicles.
That’s the clear intention

Commodity Marketing is so dead that a thread had to be started with the heading "NO TRAFFIC".
Hardly anything to do with marketing, but I see you had 3 post on there dealing with Canola. Not sure why you provided all that information when your're holding on for $54.00/bu.
The excitement for week on there is the Friday Cocktail, which is nothing more than a 4 or 5 paragraph rant by SK3 telling the rest of us what he's purchaced or sold with pictures from Florida. At least it keeps the traffic up.
The only reason Rural Issues has any traffic is because Chuck simply stirs the soup which riles up the wolf pack, other wise it would end up being just like Commodity Marketing having no pulse.
Got to give credit where credit is due the "Friday smoking" thread was at least entertaining.
Just doing my part.Last edited by foragefarmer; Feb 28, 2024, 12:13.

Forage, it is very respectable of you to keep coming to Chuck's defense. Considering he has proven over and over again that he is hopelessly incapable of defending himself.
But if you were a true friend you would help him understand how responsible adults behave in public, instead of enabling and encouraging his irresponsible and childish behavior by defending him when he gets in over his head.
Take him aside, and explain why fellow posters are comparing him to a junior high student.
Confidentially, you could point out that accusing your opponent of being a flat earther and other childish names is not the way intelligent adults respond to having their beliefs questioned.
You could even explain to him that using emojis and lol after every sentence is not a method that competent adults use for communication. Neither is assigning silly nicknames.
You could explain that his incessant strawman and whataboutism arguments drive people away from any expectation of having an adult conversation with him.
The list of ways you could help him increase the effectiveness of his communication and earn some respect, is nearly endless.
Chuck would never take such advice from any of his adversaries, but coming from you, it might just work.
As it stands, you are not doing him or the forum any favors by defending his immature narcissistic behavior.Last edited by AlbertaFarmer5; Feb 28, 2024, 14:02.

And as for your concern about the quantity of posts on the adult forum versus Chuck's daycare, quantity is not a substitute for quality.
One post by someone such as Dave4441 contributes more to this forum than The collective work of Chuck since the inception of agriville.
I regularly acknowledge and thank Chuck for his efforts to keep this site entertaining.
However, the actual value of a clown vs. relevant marketing information is incomparable. We all need a laugh, especially lately. Chuck is very obliging to provide the comic relief.
The current arrangement is working very well.
A small quantity of high quality mature relevant posts on commodity marketing.
And an endless dogs breakfast of antagonistic baiting posts by Chuck about topics completely irrelevant to agriculture here in Chuck's daycare.
As Charles ( Chuck) Adler used to say when he was still entertaining, "Learn a little, laugh a lot". That sums up Agriville in a nutshell.Last edited by AlbertaFarmer5; Feb 28, 2024, 15:11.
