With projected costs and inconvenience of blowing snow, maintenance and depreciation, with dependence on government programs influencing viability, etc. . I think investing $100k in Enbridge will be the way to go.
They pay 7.5% dividend and no work.
That covers my power bill.

Imposing stricter rules for the renewable industry and not fixing the land use rules for the much larger oil and gas industry?
All designed to discourage renewables and continue with the subsidies and incentives to oil and gas.
Billions of dollars and a legacy of underfunded liability of cleanup that taxpayers will pay for?
And many of you have the gall to complain about subsidies?
That's the Alberta big government gatekeepers getting in the way of renewables to pick winners and losers and to pander to big oil.
The irony and bullshit runs deep in UCP Alberta!

Still waiting for your response to a question I previously asked which was if we cover more good cultivated land with solar panels will make it rain?
Do you think if Canada cut it’s emissions in half tomorrow it would affect the worlds weather? Canada’s weather? Look forward to your response.

Solar and wind are the lowest cost source of new generation capacity. The amount of good quality land they will use is very small relative to what the oil and gas industry has used.
And efforts at reducing greenhouse gas emissions is happening world wide and Albertans are some of biggest greenhouse gas emitters per capita on the planet.
And its about climate not weather. Do I need to explain that difference again?
Or are you going to deny that the glaciers in Alberta are in serious decline and you are short of water? And if you are unlucky it will be another very dry smoky summer as our forests burn up and crops and grass shrivel. And you will ignore the evidence that temperatures are rising!

Almost every country can say that their country is not the cause of the problem because their emissions are relatively small.
That why every country except 2 are part of the commitment to lower emissions. To work together.
But of course Conservatives and climate change deniers don't want to work together to solve problems?
Naw! Its everyone for themselves!

Plants more efficiently convert CO 2 into Carbon and Oxygen… a net gain neither of these are atmospheric…components.
Deforestation, solar panels on productive soils, urbanization, roads, water vapour being injected by aircraft at 30,000ft… volcanoes like Tonga injection of water vapour into the stratosphere…. All increases atmospheric temperatures.
Your environmental Terrorist buddies… are Deceived.
Just in case you missed the memo… “wishing these facts away “ doesn’t change them.
Many Blessings
Praying for you!
Cheers
