There should be a coup and these two losers should be tarred and feathered with their tampons in.

Mulroney and Devine for that matter inherited a legacy of poor governance and the recessionary 80’s. Canada came off a string of craptacular minority governments both liberal and conservative which caused a lot of bad spending decisions. The Trudeau Broadbent coalition seen our debt balloon. Doesn’t that sound eerily familiar?

"What about provincial governments as they also have responsibility for the state of the country as they have significant impacts on healthcare, education, social programs, housing and their own tax levels"

Last time i checked... alberta is gonna run a budget surplus?

ugh your tone and comments even point to the fact that you are slowly ( and begrudgingly) starting to accept that the federal govt is very much the problem here and i notice a veryyy interest comment where you said the " pbo office says that the carbon tax accounts for slightly less than 1% inflation"...

Interesting because you were a few weeks ago, parroting trevor tombes analysis in the calgary papers that said carbon tax had only increased inflation by 0.6 %.
Bit of wiggle room there between 0.6 and 1%.

ive noticed a bit of a tone change in your posts here.. and i appreciate it. Maybe finally starting to see the light?

Hey what are you thoughts on.. well...basically... every single ndp candidate thats put their name in for the NDP leadership here in alberta saying that they want to essentially " scrap the carbon tax?"

We now have Premiers who think it is fine to break laws and reject the rule of law in their own interests.

Leaders who think its okay to spend all their time blaming the federal government instead of fixing their own problems?

Not to mention that Steven Harper Conservatives were in power for a decade that saw a financial crisis followed by a commodity boom and bust as well.

            Harper bailed out several industries.

The current inflationary period is happening world wide and incumbent governments get the blame.

The carbon taxes share of inflation is well below 1% so say the PBO.

So the era of low cost money ended.
Classic chuckChuck post. Right out of the playbook.
Starts out with a whataboutism. Literally starts with what about...

Projection. Accusing premiers of breaking laws, while the Federal Liberals are embroiled in (and covering up) yet another scandal.

Blame Steven Harper and Conservatives for problems occurring 8 years later.

            Blame commodities.

            Defend the CO2 tax.

            Deflect, deflect, deflect.

The short answer to the OP is no. Canuckistan is broken and not repairable. It is preferable to break up CONfederation anyways. The west and trawna are on different planets with no shared goals and can't coexist in the same nation. AB and maybe SK can pay its own bills so lets get on with separation. Nobody is investing in the future here anymore as no believes there is one.

To blame "the "Liberals" is lazy and self serving. Canazuela is heading where it's citizens are taking it.

Little PP will turn the ship around!

Housing prices will come down, food inflation, and crime will all fall! As soon as he gets rid of the carbon tax!

Because that's the only cause of inflation in Canada and probably the US too! Except the US doesn't have a carbon tax and they still have inflation? Go figure?

And Crypto currency will prevent inflation in the future!

And the most important of all he will make sure everyone uses the right bathroom and probably ban bathrooms that accommodate all genders.

                  The world according to PP!

Yes it will be near impossible to fix the disaster that the liberal/ndp criminals have made , but hopefully PP can slow down the carnage
