Is there a record of OM and nutrients from 1900? It was mined until the 70s or 80s here. But in my career, fields I've covered from then till now aren't recognizable compared to then.
I'm interested in your soil test records pre agriculture. Anything on the history of soils is interesting.
Use words like "probably" and "never" carefully. Especially together.

Almost every country can say someone else is the problem.
How can you ask others to change if you don't set an example?
It was the rich countries who have caused the biggest problem in the first place. who use the most fossil fuels.
Look at per capita emissions and you will see we are the leaders in the most CO2 emissions per capita.
India is also installing lots of renewable energy capacity.

We all have to do our part?
Well at least if you are a G7 country you keep preaching.
The rest of the world (ROTW) just looks for opertunity to improve the lifestyle of thier people.
Climate change only comes up when money is promised and the big promises arn't coming thu because G7 economies can't keep up with thier own waste and BS.
It ain't going according to plan.

As for emissions per capita, we live in a climate that is frozen 5-6 months of the year while at the same time we are a large exporter of natural resources, making energy more unaffordable isn’t a pathway to a prosperous future!

We can use less energy more efficiently and still be very well off.
But if you are going to line up idling in your $80,000, 500 hp truck to pickup your breakfast of timbits because you are too lazy or disorganized to make it yourself, then we have a problem.
Just a small example of how stupid we are when it comes to wasting resources.
We got very use to low cost energy so we designed an inneficient unsustainable system around it.

Remember the watermelon analogy, you are supposed keep the green on the outside, not expose the red.

But in a low income per capita city like Singapore they are low emmiters but highly significant.
You dodge around how much we sink.
Why?

If that were actually true, wouldn't that motivate us to be even more inefficient?
Or are you quietly acknowledging that fossil fuel energy is by far the cheapest source, and that unreliable energy will be much more expensive. Which will force consumers and industries to ration their energy use.
You can't have it both ways.
