Oh where do I start. For simplicity I will say this, I would totally disagree with you on every point you have made about Poilievre. As an example, Poilievre’s push to eliminate the consumer carbon tax has nothing to do with large corporations, just the opposite in fact. Trudeau quite frequently spews disinformation, such as eliminating the consumer carbon tax will increase extreme weather. Nothing is further from the truth. If you are true believer in climate change you would acknowledge that countries like China and India are rapidly increasing emissions so what Canada does won’t change what occurs with the climate.. We are penalizing Canada’s citizens and economy for no good reason.

There is no evidence for this from the Bank of Canada nor from economists to prove that.

Many countries without a carbon tax experienced similar levels of inflation.

On Oct. 30, Macklem introduced a new angle, stating that eliminating the carbon tax would lead to a one-time drop of 0.60 percentage points in the inflation due to accumulated tax increases over the years.
