How ironic is it that Danny Smith wants to make sure every bit of federal funding that goes directly to cities or any organizations in Alberta has to pass her scrutiny before its approved? Huh?

What she means is she doesn't mind if it's her ideology she imposes on cities, municipalities and universities.

She wants to be the gatekeeper and make sure there is more red tape so she can tell cities and universities what they can fund and what they cant?

What is amusingly ironic about this is the Federal money comes with all sorts of zoning requirements that must be met to receive the money. But of course Chuck2 you never mention what a shit show Justin Trudeau is or the conditions he is imposing to receive the money!! Constitutionally, municipalities are under the province so what Premier Smith is doing is proper and good. Intelligent people know this. The feds have a history of interfering in provincial jurisdictions and Premier Smith is right in telling them to butt out. They also interfere in the school boards as well. Anyways hopefully Premier Smith can keep calgary and deadmonton from descending to the level of chicago, new york or san fran.
