        Another case of whataboutism.
Do all of you lefties read from the exact same playbook?

Canada is turning into a free day care for 1/3 the population while the other 2/3 is going broke paying for all of it

Aren't you optimistic today. It's nowhere near that high.
18.4 million Canadians paid income tax last year. Out of a population of almost 40 million. Less than half contribute.
Then subtract all the civil servants out of that, which are seeing record growth lately.

More "we are the only ones who work hard" arguments from subsidized farmers compliments of all those other lazy tax payers?

The irony runs deep, like the sewage on Agrislly!

Gosh what is ironic is you espouse your views when what made you was the work of your previous generations. You get to browbeat folks here and be a sanctimonious twat but if dad and grandpa didn’t bust their arses to provide the golden child with a decent education you’d be like every other stiff busting their balls to survive. Quit pitting farmers with some intergenerational wealth against everyone else because you’re the biggest benefactor of it. You obviously live in a self imposed bubble because a pile of folks farming hold down other employment to make ends meet. Good for you if you can live comfortable and jet around the world like the champagne socialist you are but the rest of us have to grind away to make things work.

I was thinking it’s probably 20% that actually meaningfully contribute towards the rest of the country, it’s becoming a huge burden for the 20%….

                    That probably isn't far off.

As I posted above, the Canadian taxpayers says only 18.4 million taxpayers out of 40 million canadians. That is 46%. Of that 18.4 million, over 21% of those are civil servants. So we're down to 36% of Canadians paying taxes.

If you were to break it down further, I assume the 80/20 rule probably applies even within that group.

So what do you think of Moe chosing a few farmers to invest public money in 1.2 million per quarter irrigation.Thought socialism was when governments put up cash for what is supose to help everyone in the end.To the Sask party it is only socialism when someone else gets the cash.
