QUOTE]A lot of double standards to go around. [/QUOTE]

NFU was so proud of blocking the US border that it made their greatest accomplishment list. Members threatened Jean Luc Pepin's life, who was then Minister of Transport outside the Bessborough hotel in Saskatoon. He still shook when he told this story, 10 years later at the Canada Grain Council in 1993.

The Crow payout went from $13 to $7 to $1.5 billion. Which one of the NFU Chuck types was held accountable? I'll hold your beer while you Google...

NFU good - everyone else ...bad...
Hypocrisy and double standards are the hallmark of Chuck types...

Meanwhile in Europe...why are the Polish farmers allowed all this MISCHEIF?
The guards and police do SFA there! They agree with farmers?

Polish farmers do not allow any truck from Ukraine at three checkpoints - Polish farmers continue to block truck traffic at three checkpoints - Yahodyn, Rava-Ruska, and Uhryniv. On April 15, Polish protesters did not allow trucks to pass through these three checkpoints towards Poland at all, according to Andriy Demchenko, a spokesman for the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine. According to him, the protesters also did not allow any cars to cross into Ukraine through Uhryniv. The protesters let a small number of trucks leave Poland through Yahodyne per day. Over the past day, there were 70 of them, despite the fact that this is the largest infrastructure area for crossing the border by trucks, which is capable of passing about 1,400 trucks in both directions. As of the morning of April 16, there were about 600 trucks in total queuing at these three blocked crossing points in Poland. "There are also queues at two previously unblocked checkpoints. 900 and 450 trucks, respectively. However, there is heavy traffic in these areas both leaving and entering Ukraine," the spokesman added. (APK)

So Trudeau can shut the country down for a couple years and it’s not a problem but a protest can’t restrict a little traffic?

I guess Chuck won't be the only poster being accused of "whataboutism" anymore.

The 12 Albertan jurists, obviously got it right. Justice served, you want to screw up your fellow citizens lives and economy, pay the price for your stupidity.

Hopefully their not threaten by the rest of the so called law-abiding blockaders, probably would only take one call to get those mindless sheep fired up again.

I tried to find some info. Marco Van Huigenbos grew up on a farm, doesn't appear to be actively farming, he immigrated, I assume from Holland. I can't find much about the other two. Except that they have Dutch names as well.
Now what would the Dutch know about standing up to Tyranny? When Forage's Ukrainian ancestors were collaborating with the Nazi's, the Dutch were organizing resistance to them, and it cost many of them their lives.

How do we know they weren't descendants of Nazi collaborators?

Its irrelevant that they were of dutch ancestry.

And protest all you want but you don't get to block streets roads and buildings for weeks on end. And don't bring guns unless you want to end up dead or in the slammer.

Why does the expression Nazi Collaborators deserve a smiley face? What is funny or amusing about that?
