Why doesnt chuck prepay his capital gains, you know to make life more fairer in this country.

What subsidies does monette get except for their astronomical mortgage at Scotia Bank.

I hope you didn't think very long on that one.

I have trouble the government determining who is eligible for risk support programs like crop insurance or agstab regarding farm size. Even if one has a disdain for Monettes cavalier approach they still put their dick on the road like the guy farming 12 quarters, and probably more so. Take away the opportunity to be big and or successful what sort of an incentive is there for the up and coming farmers? In another topic we were discussing equality of opportunity vs equality of outcome. What is it here? Do you want everyone farming 5 quarters with a 1370 and 1/3 fallow or a larger operation which can weather commodity downturns a bit better? We grow commodities and are at the whims of the world market. There is no way you can insulate from it as was shown with previous schemes. Domestic policy which hinders us from being competitive will effectively drive us out of business maybe not today but definitely tomorrow.

One could almost get the impression that he said something somewhere in that list of banal talking points.
But on further inspection, there is absolutely nothing.

He would make a great politician.

Supply management for all of agriculture. 35 million people paying 50% of their income towards food.
Zero imports. Works on paper I guess.

Significant part of that 35 million pay more than 50% to various levels of government in taxes and fees.

Food is way down the list probably below transportation.
For sure if you need 2 vehicles and they are both EV's.

The socialists in government are trying to divert attention to food cost but even my 19 yr old grandson who worked huge hours with no days off last harvest observed that taxes took over 1/2 his money.

High taxes sap the incentive to expend extra effort.

How come Harper, Scheer, O'toole and then PP continue to support socialist supply managed dairy and poultry and fiscally conservative farmers keep asking for subsidies while complaining about subsidies to other industries?

They sure don't walk their talk.

But the Cons still keep giving subsidies to farmers and industries who don't need it.

I guess they like big government vote buying too!

Kind of looks like the voters have had enough of socialist policy.

The LPC looses 100 seats with the CPC picking up 93.

With the collapse of the LPC your party only potentially get 2 seats of the 100?

I hope the NDP can not even make party status. That would be the icing on the cake.
