    Chuck.
Narrow minds are not limited to one political spectrum.
Rex Murphy chose the path of common sense. He kept his feet grounded. More people should exercise their communication muscle. It doesn't require a university degree thank goodness.
He led by example and conviction.

Sadly, like castrating a boar, your attention is focused on the rope on your nose.
As in most things, wheat or green tech, it's politics. Believe what you will, trade policies are going to drive the pace of change. Our competitiveness will set the price.
Biden made that irrefutable rule crystal clear yet again this morning.
Your logic loop is operating in it's own vacuum. Conclusions that others with their own interests benefit from.
Straws, bags, semiconductors, EVs whatever. Who's selling them and what does it cost you. And what are you selling in return.
Until you provide answers to those questions, your grandchildren will have a lower standard of living. An issue Rex would've understood clearly. Remember the cod moratorium?

The Cod were over fished and the fishery collapsed. And John Crosby a Progressive Conservative had to shut down the inshore fishery.

An example of how humans will deplete a resource instead of managing it to be sustainable.

An analogy of how we manage natural resources and the planet.

And some of the anti woke anti environment Conservatives got nothing better to to do than whine about Tim Hortons coffee cup lids, paper straws and reusable shopping bags?

With that kind of lack of leadership we can expect more shut downs and lost natural resources and further environmental degradation and collapse.

        Correct.
My suspicions as to what you would see were correct. But I also see this in the cod analogy.
Rex was grounded in a proud make do with little culture. He saw the greatest support for his people not in govt welfare but economic opportunities. Exodus to prosperity for those who could and money sent home to those who couldn't.
A thriving economy elsewhere in the nation. People moving to the money. Not money flowing to them.
He witnessed a destruction and rebirth of pride itself.
There are other lessons such as reliance on one industry of course. And John Crosby showing a character that seems to lack today.
The moral is, it's the economy.
Politics has changed and not for the better as evidenced by all the attention paid to how we drink and what we drink from. The sideshow has become the main attraction. I suggest distraction.
Our greatest cost will come from ignorance of the economy.

More climate change denial crap from the guy who says we are going to run out of CO2 if we stop burning fossil fuels?

You have heard of the carbon cycle which includes photosynthesis?

So which scientists are raising alarm bells about the impending shortage of CO2?

A5 wants to axe the facts! And he is running out of common sense!

I guess I will take that incoherent rant as an affirmative answer to my question about photosynthesis no longer being a common sense concept?
Thank you for taking the time to answer my question.

So homeless people consume and throw away the most plastic?

So cleaning up homeless camps and housing people will solve the plastic problem?

And you wonder why I call it Agrislly?

Why don't some of the useless light weight Conservative MPs work on the homeless problem instead of complaining about paper straws and paper lids because their poor suffering kids don't like them?

More plastic will be good for us?

Its the dumb and dumber show on Agrislly!
