Bringing a refugee from Central America to Canada instantly increases their CO2 footprint by nearly 20 fold.
Personally, I support bringing hard-working people in si they can contribute to our economy and have a better life, but if we were taking our CO2 emissions as seriously as we do our plastic straw emissions, we might want to rethink this strategy.
