Exactly why we shouldn't be subsidizing large farms who don't need subsidies.

Target subsidies to small and medium sized farms so that we keep them a large part of rural communities.

Subsidies to large farms ends up fueling the larger farms domination and control over more and more land pushing smaller family farms out.

Would your 6000 acre farm be considered as large , or is it 6050 where is cutoff?

Why would a small or medium sized successful farm need taxpayer money?

For that matter, why would any size of successful farm need to be subsidized?

And if a farm or any other business is not successful, why would you subsidize a failure? How would that make the industry more efficient and more competitive against our South American and FSU competition?

What you are suggesting, looks like you want to reward the least efficient and punish the most effective business people, is that correct?
