Lots of rain in many areas thankfully. But one May doesn't change the the long term climate trends around the world.

Neither does a one day heat record from a thermometer in a city that creates an heat island effect exaggerating a temperature reading .

and again , never said a word about long term climate trends .
simply pointing out reality that completely contradicts media sensationalism that you post

well over an inch more rain here last night , will yet again be losing yield to excess moisture

So Furrow, how does heat island effect explain the Canadian all time record temperature of 49.6 C set in Lytton BC in 2021 during the heat dome that killed 600 people?

The earth is warming whether you think it is or not. Follow the science!

Would that be the same science as fouchi said he was following CC ? yesterday in hearing it was established pretty much everything he has said was lies

It doesn’t, they had a hot spell there in the summer . 600 people died in Lytton ?
much like SA and Australia got cold spells during their winter recently .
oh and there was frost across the Northern grain belt in June again the other morning

Soil moisture levels continue to build across the majority of western Canada crop land
most very dry areas from the past decade have the highest soil moisture and subsoil moisture levels in nearly 20 years . Nearly all from the past 30 days .
                science that .

Will post heat units to date for western Canada for spring 2024 as soon as available.
Unless someone else can find that info ?

should be quite telling with most areas around 100 heat units behind average to date
thats 30-40% below average so far

Furrow, I think you are confusing weather with climate again. As Chuck has indicated with his repeated new threads, climate is a single temperature station in a single City on a single day. Weather is anything longer or more widespread than that apparently.

It was 46deg in Midale Sask in 1937. Nobody died.

Earths population 1/3 of what it is today. Combustion engine barely entering widespread adoption. Oil consumption in 1937 was 3m bbl per day.
