Chuck why do you think the Saskatchewan economy was stagnant for generations because of a shitty socialist government and a government hegemony regulating the sale of wheat and barley? Call a spade a spade. You hate oil obviously but don’t do so much as hear a peep out of you why ag in western Canada has been playing catchup since the cwb was curb stomped. Every expert including yourself said it would be detrimental to farmers to lose the board but you supposed experts were so wrong. For as educated and smart as some are they let feelings get in the way of facts.

Yes and the conundrum was those who supported the board even though it kept them down. Stockholm Syndrome at its finest. Still some that support it but now don’t farm or at the least don’t do much grain anymore. Can remember a family whom were good right wing pious lot but darn never mention taking out the board. They voted liberal in protest of the govt taking out the board.

i know a few farmers too that back then wanted too keep CWB but now they say it being gone was the best thing ever happened
