So what makes your peer reviewed science better than my peer reviewed science?

I thought the science was settled?

Don't you keep asking for credible scientific organizations and peer reviewed science?

        [QUOTE=chuckChuck;

Climate change has costs that will overtime cause a very large reduction in global GDP.

But don't expect the climate change deniers to acknowledge the costs of climate change even after several years of droughts, fires, and floods.

They have already forgotten the fires in Ft Mac in 2016, the 600 heat dome deaths in BC and the fire in Lytton and the several years of recent drought that caused Saskatchewan tax payers $1.5 billion in payouts in one year!
        [/QUOTE]

It would be a tough sell for Trudeau to tax open fires for cooking and coal oil lamps that were responsible for the droughts in the 1700 and 1800's.
Just stop and think this through Chuck.

There is no question that the prairies has had lots of droughts and extreme weather before.

But with climate change the science says, the frequency and intensity of extreme weather events will increase as the climate warms.

                # 77 Rumrock's post

" I moved to the U.S. in 2022 and after working professionally for quit some time now I can tell you that the two countries are not similar so stop comparing the two. "

"First of all Americans love taking risks and have a very high risk tolerance while Canadians are very risk avers ,"

Nothing more than a venting disgruntled profession with no skin in the game moving to the USA , who missed out on the 20 year housing investment market and is now envious of all other Canadians willing to take risks who did and made it happen.

I can see why no name was attached and be favorable on Agriville.

                  Will, future tense.

                  Science definition:
systematic study of the structure and behavior of the physical and natural world through observation, experimentation, and the testing of theories against the evidence obtained.

How does science observe the future as you claim?
What you call science sounds more like psychic predictions.

The fact that you won't make any effort to seek information that doesn't confirm your preconceived notion, is not my problem.

or does your partner do all the spraying while you scour the internet for misleading studies by paid off scientists?

There have been many studies that mention that countries like Canada will end up with a net benefit from the slightly warmer and wetter climate we are modeled to expect.
                        How could you logically argue?

Joe Oliver: Here’s a truth few dare to utter: Canada will benefit from climate change

?"The impact on farming, however, would be dramatic. In the three Prairie provinces alone, an area more than twice the size of France, arable land could increase between 26 and 40 per cent by 2040, according to Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada. With improvements in farm technology, drought-resistant crops and new harvesting methods, Canada would have a wonderful opportunity to help feed a hungry world. And not a moment too soon: according to the UN’s Food and Agriculture Organization, agricultural output needs to increase by 50 per cent over the next 30 years to keep pace with world population growth."

Even the total doomers see Canada as a winner:

How Climate Change Could Turn Canada into a Global Superpower

A gigantic supply of freshwater, an ice-free Arctic Ocean and an agricultural “sweet spot” temperature could be the envy of scorched and unlivable countries like the US.?

It's been a while since I did any carpet farming, but from what I recall, the window for spraying is quite a bit wider when you are in a climate controlled basement.
In fact it seems to me that most of my carpet farming operations tended to happen on rainy days when we couldn't do real farming activities.
