Agree with you on this one Chuck.

Asking if it is a credible scientific organization is a stupid response.

Electricity costs are rising with or without significant renewable generation. Because there are more than generation costs included in delivering electricity to consumers.

Sask Power has clearly said wind and solar are some of the lowest cost generation sources when you look at the levelized costs of electricity (LCOE) over their lifetime.

Lazard's LCOE also shows the low cost of new renewable generation.

When you make your next farming decision, be sure to ignore credible scientific and cost of production evidence!

Let us know how that works out!

You link take you to some outfit trying to sell investments and give investment advice.?
Is that where you get credible scientific and cost of production evidence?

Lazard's Levelized Cost of Energy+ (LCOE+) is a U.S.-focused annual publication that combines analyses across three distinct reports: Energy (LCOE, 17th edition), Storage, (LCOS, 9th edition) and Hydrogen (LCOH, 4th edition). Lazard first started publishing its comparative analysis of various generation technologies in 2007.

The global power mix will be transformed by 2028
The world is on course to add more renewable capacity in the next five years
than has been installed since the first commercial renewable energy power
plant was built more than 100 years ago. In the main case forecast in this report,
almost 3 700 GW of new renewable capacity comes online over the 2023-2028
period, driven by supportive policies in more than 130 countries. Solar PV and
wind will account for 95% of global renewable expansion, benefiting from lower
generation costs than both fossil and non-fossil fuel alternatives.

Over the coming five years, several renewable energy milestones are expected to
              be achieved:
 In 2024, wind and solar PV together generate more electricity than hydropower.
 In 2025, renewables surpass coal to become the largest source of electricity
              generation.
 Wind and solar PV each surpass nuclear electricity generation in 2025 and 2026
              respectively.
 In 2028, renewable energy sources account for over 42% of global electricity
generation, with the share of wind and solar PV doubling to 25%.

Chuck that so called non-profit only exist for one reason.

You do understand that non- profits exist to make millions tax free for the people who run them?

Wonder why all those question marks before every statement - are these buffoons asking me? Here’s the answer - Carbon is the staff of green life and our life on earth. Green Rhetoric is false information that Chuck adheres to.

One would think that having almost 20 years of experience predicting power generation costs, that an unbiased organization might have enough data by now to go and back test their predictions against real world results?

Or that chuck could find some real world results which don't contradict the predicted outcomes?
