Electricity costs are rising with or without significant renewable generation. Because there are more than generation costs included in delivering electricity to consumers.

Sask Power has clearly said wind and solar are some of the lowest cost generation sources when you look at the levelized costs of electricity (LCOE) over their lifetime.

Lazard's LCOE also shows the low cost of new renewable generation.

The global power mix will be transformed by 2028
The world is on course to add more renewable capacity in the next five years
than has been installed since the first commercial renewable energy power
plant was built more than 100 years ago. In the main case forecast in this report,
almost 3 700 GW of new renewable capacity comes online over the 2023-2028
period, driven by supportive policies in more than 130 countries. Solar PV and

One would think that having almost 20 years of experience predicting power generation costs, that an unbiased organization might have enough data by now to go and back test their predictions against real world results?

Or that chuck could find some real world results which don't contradict the predicted outcomes?
