For those businesses and farms that needed it, no problem it was there for a reason.

How did your calving go this year Wilton?
Did you get any of those difficult births/ oxygen deprived calves?
You have to feel sorry for them as they seem unable to learn much beyond basic functionality.
They can make you go tomato head when they cant even find the gate if the herd leaves without them.
Sometimes you just have to say WTF and hope the mother comes to help?

Surprisingly calving was uneventful. All simmental sired and not a dumb one but I’ve had my share for sure in the past. Thought the same about a husband wife couple like a Paul and Karla combo. Everyone knows Karla was the mastermind lol.

My mom would call those calves and their human equivalents a dunderhead.
We had one we must have been born backwards and never learned how to suck. everyday for 3 months I would corner the cow put a tit in his mouth squirt milk and he'd stand there incapable of learning the most simple fundamental skill. And one day it actually sucked. then couldn't remember how to do it the next day or ever again. tubed it for 3 months straight then it dropped dead.
That experience was almost as rewarding as trying to teach Agriville's own dunderhead some really simple elementary concepts such as science not being something that you believe in, or that CO2 is beneficial.
