Complaining about Devine in Saskatchewan? He left a legacy that almost no one else can match. Rafferty/Alameda, cow-calf program and I could go on for a long time but some are too dense to see the good in anything that isn’t socialist or communist.

Chuck is of the immediate gratification generation.
The idea that a government could invest in the future and those investments will not come to fruition within one political cycle is lost on him. As is the opposite where the damage caused by a Trudeau type government will inevitably be blamed on the subsequent governments.
I will try an analogy that may make sense to Chuck on his farm.
The biggest expense of any 1/64th scale farm such as Chuck's is new pants. Since he wears the knees out of his pants crawling around on the hard basement floor pushing the tractors around.
So the government, in his case his parents decide to install shag carpeting in the basement so the pants will last longer.
But Chuck is mad because all of his existing pants are still worn out and didn't magically heal themselves just because the carpet was installed. It takes a long time to cycle through all of the worn out and half worn out pants before the economic benefits are finally seen. By which time Chuck has forgotten all about the investment in the carpet.Last edited by AlbertaFarmer5; Oct 10, 2024, 17:05.

The Myth of the FISCAL Conservative
17 years of Sask Party and the LAST balanced budget was when Ndp were in
Fiscal conservatives are like SASQUATHCES - you hear about them, but No one has actually seen one
During the highest price commodity BOOM in a century, Moe and co. have put us 35 BILLION in debt- while education and healthcare take a Pounding and he puts Sales tax on every F%%%king thing

Meanwhile, us peasants are permanently distracted while we argue about left versus right as if it actually matters.

More disinformation from the left. Bet you thought the CWB paid a premium too. I'm hardly a Moe fan; but at least my kids didn't get luggage when they graduated. If you want to do projected budgets versus actuals, be my guest.
Canadian Taxpayer's Federation - 2023 -
after a 1 second Google search - not my numbers.
The Saskatchewan Party has presided over 15 full budget years since being elected in 2007. In 2009, Saskatchewan had its largest debt reduction on record, a move that reduced the debt all the way down to $4.15 billion. A great step that failed because of what came after it. Since 2007, the government has only balanced the budget five out of those 15 times.

So A5 are you driving on fantasy roads, sending your kids to make believe schools, and getting your health care from ghosts?
If not, how are you going to pay for all these things without government taxes in your pretend libertarian fantasy world?

Scotty Moe, ignore federal laws that you don't like and pick on the kids who are already bullied the most and most vulnerable! Quite the record!
Lets all ignore the provincial laws we don't like and see how it goes there Scotty!
