He also thinks there is a big fence around the have-not provinces stopping their citizens from moving to where the jobs are. Which justifies transfer payments. And justifies complaining that Albertan's get paid too much. If government just got out of the way, almost the entire population of Atlantic Canada would have already moved west and transfer payments wouldn't be necessary.

Actually Chuck, I encouraged my grandkids to get some type Engineering or Science degree and try get on with one of Elon Musks companies, Preferably Space X.

Musk's companies appear to be a great place to work.

Do you see any better opportunities out there Chuck?

Son number One started his engineering degree this year.

There was some concern that he would not be accepted, since he did not get 100% on all of his high school departmental exams. Missed by one or two percent on a couple of courses. Makes me feel like an underachiever when I was in high school.

But I won't let that stop Chuck from insulting the intelligence of us dumb uneducated farmers.

Well they could always get a good union job as civil servants. Then they can vote NDP. Chuck won't be satisfied until 100% of the workforce works for the government. Won't even need to have elections after that.

You and your family may be good students and intelligent, but some of your ideas lack common sense.

And your dismissal of climate science and climate scientists suggests you are not as intelligent as you think you are.

Do engineers routinely reject well established scientific facts and evidence from experts in their area of expertise? I sure as hell hope not.

But A5 you persist in your climate change denial views that are just not supported by much of anything. Go figure?

What do you think about getting your kids working for Musk.

Some say he say one of the phenoms that only come along every few hundred years?

He expects to save the US government trillions by cutting waste and corruption.
