Yes, of course. It's not like society is made up of individuals, or the individual vote for governments, or that individuals can become politically active, it wasn't individuals who created any of these problems to start with. None of the first Nations people themselves are individuals.

The concept of sharing responsibility can lead to dilution of same.
It is their responsibility to make their lives better. Ours to allow them.
Deeding the reserves gives them equal rights. As long as it ends all further claims, which is why it's not wanted.

You like to compare the fortune's of family farms with the misfortune of life out on the Rez.

IR's were set up from conception as communes.

Family farms reward the individual for their initiative.
Long hours and good planning can be the difference between success and failure.
Communal experiments like the CWB marketing have been rejected.

I can't think of any examples in the world where communes have had any better results than our reserves.
They have only lasted as long as they have here because they have been such a small part of the economy Government could keep feeding money in the top to sustain their existence.

Its a shared responsibility between governments, first nations and non first nations people.

Governments and first nations are the ones who can change legislation, policy and provide compensation and support.
