    What are you doing A5?

Except supporting arrogant idiots like Furrow who says everyone else is lazy?

And the first nations have better lives than the rest of Canadians! Which is bullshit!

How does Chuck feel about deeding them title to their reserves?

Public is great. But how to handle mistreatment?
The most dangerous kind of stupid is the selfish and greedy kind. People like my ex-wife. Abuse her own kids to get a buck for free.

I will let governments, courts and first nations sort all this out.

But I wont blame first nations for all their own problems.

They didn't create the racist system they live under.

Its a shared responsibility to make their lives better.

Yes, because government has proven themselves to be very capable competent of handling this issue so far.

None of the current problems are in any way created by government policy over the past centuries.

So as usual, no personal responsibility on Chuck's part. He's very good at accusing everyone else of being part of the problem, but he is not going to be part of the solution. Just like big wheel, government can solve everything.

What was the definition of insanity again?

Who else would be able fix this except governments and first nations?

And I have never said I am not part of the problem nor part of the solution, like you and so many of your agrisilly friends say!

Can you offer any examples of what the government could be doing differently that would solve underlying problems?
Which confiscating your 6,000 acres and giving it to the first Nation be a good start?
Which taxing the entirety of your excess profits and giving it to the first Nations help?

Your big on virtue signaling platitudes, but very short on actual productive solutions

Judging by your response, I'm going to assume you are not employing or mentoring or donating to, volunteering with, any first nations.

Just waiting for the government to do something while you sit on your high horse casting dispersions upon the rest of us actually doing something.

Resource sharing is a good start. Give them a share of the natural resource revenue that came with their ancestral lands.

Its not up to individuals to fix system problems.

You are just deflecting responsibility. What are you doing personally to help?

What about NASA do you support their greening evidence but not the other evidence of climate change? Yes or no? Dont run away again! LOL

chuck would be happy when all the rest of us are brought down to the same level as the FN folk , not bring them up , and sadly its happening here in canada , universal basic income will be rolled out and lots more will be in exactly same position as if they were on a reserve

Yes, of course. It's not like society is made up of individuals, or the individual vote for governments, or that individuals can become politically active, it wasn't individuals who created any of these problems to start with. None of the first Nations people themselves are individuals.

Only the monolithic government can do anything to fix it.

It's a very convenient position to take, you can wash your hands of all personal responsibility. While at the same time blaming everyone else.

                        Hmmm.
The concept of sharing responsibility can lead to dilution of same.
It is their responsibility to make their lives better. Ours to allow them.
Deeding the reserves gives them equal rights. As long as it ends all further claims, which is why it's not wanted.
Resource sharing for 5% of the population a great step to equality?
We now acknowledge daily the owing of everything we have to Treaty Lands we occupy. To a culture that had no sense of property before we came.
And downplay the sacrifice of 4 generations to have what we do today as settler theft.
How about we share the accomplishments as well?
Labelling me and shouting "share" is a very thin veneer.

It is all about the politics and not the policy.

This statement sums up chucks philosophy in one sentence.
You should probably add that as your tagline to every post.

Have you ever met a problem or imaginary problem that you didn't think more government couldn't fix?

You like to compare the fortune's of family farms with the misfortune of life out on the Rez.

IR's were set up from conception as communes.

"A communal society is one in which everyone lives and works together and property and possessions are shared rather than being owned by a particular person.?"

Family farms reward the individual for their initiative.
Long hours and good planning can be the difference between success and failure.
Communal experiments like the CWB marketing have been rejected.

I can't think of any examples in the world where communes have had any better results than our reserves.
They have only lasted as long as they have here because they have been such a small part of the economy Government could keep feeding money in the top to sustain their existence.
As you point out they haven't worked for the people any better than they did in Stalinist Russia or CCP.

Do you think a commune can be successful Chuck?

Its a shared responsibility between governments, first nations and non first nations people.

Governments and first nations are the ones who can change legislation, policy and provide compensation and support.

Individuals can't change government policy and programs!
