Hmmm and let’s see Premier Eby from B.C. has said if the Feds removed the requirement for the carbon tax he would remove it.

But the fact remains in the U.S. there is no carbon tax and per capita gdp is climbing, unemployment remains low. In Canada exactly the opposite, unemployment is 6.5%, above pre pandemic levels and per capita gdp continues to fall. Why don’t you acknowledge the facts?!?!

Nothing to debate on the carbon tax.

Even the LPC won't go into the next election with it.

Trudeau will be gone by the new year. A lot of the virtue signaling will go with him.

At least chuck has finally moved on from blaming everything on Harper.

Now everything is being blamed on Pollievre. And he isn't even in charge yet.

Does the concept of personal responsibility have any resonance with your ideology? Or party responsibility in this case?

Chuck, how many times did your teacher buy the " the dog ate my homework" excuse before catching on?

What does the alternative to the carbon tax cost?

What is the cost of large emitters carbon tax in Alberta and Saskatchewan?

Climate change has a cost as well and Canada signed on to doing something about it and PP will continue with those international agreements.

Many economists say the carbon tax is the most efficient way and market driven process to reduce carbon emissions. It lets consumers make decisions on how to reduce emissions. And they get a rebate that covers all or most of the upfront costs.

What will PP replace it with and how much will it cost? Because there are costs to account for.

And inflation in the US is higher than Canada's without the carbon tax.

And the PBO clearly showed a tax that is rebated is not very inflationary.

Canada needs NO carbon reductions, a fools game

              A false dream of WEF/greenies/UN

A distraction from REAL issues...like KILLING each other

Just live and enjoy our very short time on this ball or flat earth whatever it is

Don't add stress about what temp might be in 2100, adapt,

just like now we wear WARMER clothing....taxes can't change that can they?

Smith and Moe must be greenies and support the WEF/UN because they both have a carbon tax on large emitters to reduce emissions!

Yes your life is short but you don't poison the water well and air when you die do you? And let the next generations fix it? Would you do that with your farm? Ruin it because life is short?

We can adapt and change. Its not one or the other.

And the push to reduce emissions is not going to stop!

I think Chuck may be beginning to understand the difference between pollution and beneficial plant food.

Moe has added more tax than any government.and passes it out to his supporters.at 1.2 million a quarter. When a person buys insurance buys groceries buys an appliance that breaks down and the list goes on it should be itemized as a Moe tax.

Yes A5 try living in a room full of only "beneficial plant food"!

That should be good for you! Right! LOL

CO2 in excess is considered a pollutant by science! Get it?

"the emission of carbon dioxide (CO2) has been considered as one of the main sources of air pollution, leading to a serious concern due to its climatic effects as greenhouse gas (GHG)."
