Show us the link to your quote from NASA A5?

Or did you make this up yourself! I am betting the latter!

I predict no link is forthcoming from the weasel!

From the European Space Agency

https://www.esa.int/Applications/Observing_the_Earth/FutureEO/CryoSat/Ice_loss_from_Greenland_and_Antarctica_hits_new_re cord

A report, released today, states that ice loss from Greenland and Antarctica has increased fivefold since the 1990s, and now accounts for a quarter of sea-level rise.

It is without doubt that climate change is causing our polar ice sheets to melt, thereby driving up sea levels and putting coastal regions around the world at risk.
Since 1992, when satellite records of ice-sheet melt began, the polar ice sheets have lost ice every single year. The highest rates of melt have occurred in the past decade.
Scientists use data from satellites such as ESA’s CryoSat and the European Union’s Copernicus Sentinel-1 to measure changes in ice volume and flow, as well as satellites that provide information on gravity, to work out how much ice is being lost.
A team of scientists compile these records in the Ice Sheet Mass Balance Intercomparison Exercise (IMBIE), which is funded by ESA and NASA. This is used widely, including by the International Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), to understand and respond to the climate crisis.
The latest IMBIE assessment (https://essd.copernicus.org/articles/15/1597/2023/), which was published today, states that between 1992 and 2020, the polar ice sheets lost 7560 billion tonnes of ice – equivalent to an ice cube measuring 20 km each side.

You didn't follow the link I posted to our previous discussion, did you?

A new NASA study says that an increase in Antarctic snow accumulation that began 10,000 years ago is currently adding enough ice to the continent to outweigh the increased losses from its thinning glaciers.

Let's see your credentials jackass.
I don't think Chuck is going to share his jackass credentials...

Or follow the links I provided.

If you go to the site link it says this page contains outdated content and is no longer updated. Kind of like your thinking A5!

Now post a current link from a credible scientific organization that says the antarctic is gaining ice mass!

Put up or shut up!

We are waiting!

Outdated science?
From a credible scientific organization?
How can that be possible?
All sound science in unquestioned?
Are those scientists still employed at NASA or have they been replaced by new scientists who better know how to structure studies to achieve the expected results?

In other words, the uncertainties are far greater than the claimed losses or gains.
But let's go ahead and destroy our economies and energy infrastructure just in case.

The original data collected was from 1992 -2001 and conflicted with previous work and now with more current data. Satellite technology has improved a lot from 1992 -2001

NASA said this "The findings reported here conflict with over a decade of other measurements, including previous NASA studies. However, challenges to existing findings are an integral part of the scientific process and can help clarify and advance understanding."

If you are so sure its not outdated or wrong, post a link from a few credible scientific organization that says the antarctic is gaining ice mass!

There should be several if it is is happening.

Science evolves with repeatable research and results from multiple independent sources and new information and technology.

Science is not static and based on one outdated research report that is contradicted by numerous other sources.

Several... Because NASA is no longer credible. You are back to claiming that science is a democratic process.

Chuck, I see you got the wheels on your goal posts all fixed up. The goal post is moving almost as fast as it did during the height of covid

So A5 the best you can come up with is a outdated link from 10 years ago that NASA clearly says is an outlier and isn't supported by the overwhelming body of preceding and more recent current research?

That's all you got there A5?

And that one study out of numerous others that contradict it, confirms the ice mass is growing and not shrinking? LOL

How come there is no serious scientific organization that also says NASA is currently wrong and the ice sheets in the antarctic are growing? We are waiting and waiting.....

A farmer from central Alberta knows more than all the experts on this subject and is pretty sure they are all wrong!

You are a world class bullshitter weasel and that's all you are A5! LOL

You do realize that I was only kidding when I recently suggested that the reason why you only post early in the morning is that you are too inebriated to post anything intelligible by mid-mornings.

Judging by this post, perhaps my joke was closer to reality than I realized.

Three smiley faces, 2 lols, countless instances of name calling and insults.

Perhaps you should stick to your usual routine of not posting after 9:00AM or however many drinks that is.
