    "Trudeau hates natural resources"!

I guess that is why he built the TMX pipeline to move Alberta oil to the coast so they could get rid of it because he hates it so much! LOL

    Flipper you are losing it!

Didn’t Trudeau say he wanted to phase out the oil sands. . . . Then one of his aides explained the relationship between jet fuel and oil sands. Realizing his colossal mistake he quickly bought TMX.

Absolutely agree , but wow has our society fell apart since Trudeau got in and the NDP started holding his hand
never in history has there been so much homelessness and drug use. Canadians in the streets and immigrants in hotels . It’s a circus now
Also the middle class taxpayers are getting absolutely drained under this coalition government.

Canada has become a huge disappointment now when the harder you work the more you get taxed out of the middle class and into poverty.

This coalition government has added nothing but wasteful government woke jobs that are a complete drain on the rest of our society with zero economic return.
it’s just recirculated money and the wealth creating industries are getting destroyed.

Yeah life is so tough for high earners! LOL

                Cry us a river Furrow.

Your farm has more generational wealth than almost every average joe in the country.

And by the looks of it, you have a good quality lifestyle with a lot of advantages that other people don't have.

If your biggest problem is you pay lots of taxes then you don't have many real problems!

I ain’t crying no river , just pointing out the obvious and you go on personal attacks again with misinformation

Many many farms have gone bankrupt, it’s not an accident that those left are doing ok
my lifestyle is paltry compared to many . But I have earned everything little thing I have in life by working 2 jobs for 30 years and a wife that has been a teacher for 25 .
much like most posters on agriville that have or had off farm income to keep the family farms going
don’t be an ass …. But you can’t help it I guess

Like many farmers you have worked hard! No doubt.

But the majority got a great start based on family assets and wealth.

And many non farming Canadians have 2-3 jobs and very little assets to show for it.

You are still much farther ahead than most.

Having a teacher wife is an advantage. Its a good, well paid secure union job. Those jobs kept many farms afloat during the bad years.

Family assets are only here because most of us still farming have been doing so for over 100 years

if others want to run a family business for over 100 years , i am sure they will have far more assets
                      than mist family farms

So do you think those that worked and it turned out well, should share equally with those that have very little?

"You will always have the POOR with you", in the bible...

We certainly should be charitable, but NOT taxed to death.

And our worth/taxes must be wisely spent, which currently is NOT the case.

Canada's declining standard of living is well documented.

Socialist's like chuck think the answer is double down with more socialism.

The most Socialist countries have a very poor record of lifting their people's economic situation.

You give us one country where it is working and I'll give you three that want to shoot their way out of it.

Governments seemed to get blamed for everything these days.Even though farmers have increased their net worth by huge amounts while Trudeau has been in power If you blame Trudeau for global problems then he should get credit for their farm values going up also.Globaly Canada has did very well as far as being a great country to live in and raise a family.I like the size of Sask cities right now .Not interested in our population getting bigger in Sask.Think quality of life will go down if it grows too fast.

no , its the Canadian dollar has lost its buying power , what good is it if your farm is worth double when the dollar is worth half ? all i see it doing is higher taxes

Not sure we have lost buying power.at one time I bought a half .that guy bought a house with that money.later in years that house was worth 3 times what that half was worth. Now that half is worth twice what the house is worth. So my buying power hs increased.
